Sadly wrongboy was fatally killed by a torrent of oil from his Z4 when he started it up after panic filling it. A spokesperson from Castrol said "We are devastated, he'd become our #1 customer in the last 24hrs"

:o I'm a little bit worried about him now....
Yes he has gone a bit quiet

Wrongboy, just let us know you and your Zed are okay! You can't end the story where you did mate. We need answers. Preferably happy ones

This is getting to be a bit of a cliffhanger! :? In a previous car I had, an old Triumph, big ends gone = permanent oil light on and 1950s bus diesel engine sound effects so theres hope yet (I guess)

sorry about late reply guys. after putting 4 litres in it, i started it up and with the first second the tapping stopped. i figured id run it a week before reporting back. seems i got out with a lucky escape. engine doesnt seem to of lost any power so far, no thats noticable anyway, tho i did fill it with regular instead of the torq stuff as the other pumps where all full, and the normal stuff can make it feel a little sluggy. tho if anything else unfoldes ill report back again. thanks for all the help.

4 litres ????

So your engine was nearly devoid of oil altogether.

Have you never checked it or is it being used?
