I know that this has been mentioned before, but what a difference it makes not having the runflats on, seems to be a different car. You can now drive with the confidence and feel for the car that should have been there in the first place. We had Goodyear F1 asymmetric 2's fitted, the only down side is that the idiot who fitted them has damaged one of the wheels and the fitting centre in Alcester Warwickshire are claiming flaking paint (unbelievable) so the matter is now in the hands of Black circles customer relations team. Anyway it's still brilliant. :D :driving:

Know the feeling like night and day enjoy. hope you get amicable solution to the wheel damage.

Very pleased that you are pleased with the tyres. I'm well chuffed with mine.

Hope you get the wheel sorted out.

My sister lives in Alcester (but she doesn't fit tyres).

Cheers fellas, RickRob I would think that your sister could do a better job than the numpties at this place. :D
Should have a response later in the week, although I'm just about to send another email to Blackcircles as having just cleaned the car this afternoon and removed all the gunge and dust left by them I have found more damage now to the left rear wheel.

Hi, all,
I have just joined the Z4 forum
I have a Z4 2014 s drive 2.0 m sport,which I
I've but felt it was always under powered,so I've ordered a Z4 35is which is due for delivery early September ,it's going to be black and want black wheels, which BMW couldn't supply !!! don't know wether to get black alloys or get the two spoke alloys sprayed black.any comments anyone.

I'm unfortunately stuck with Bridgestone Potenza RFT all round, with a good 6mm of tread left! Such an annoyance, as I'd love to switch them out for some Michelin PSS's but can't bring myself to spend £400ish and ditch what are perfectly good (in the sense of tread remaining, not ride quality!) tyres .:headbang:

Oh well, I'm sure it'll be no time at all before they need changing, at least the rears anyway! So looking forward to swapping them out for the PSS as I see so many people on here ranting and raving about just how big a difference non-RFT's make!

I run on Vredstein Ultrac vortis great tyre, ditched the runflats even though had 6mm tread left . RE Wheel colour Black on Black for me Ugh.

Ebay them? I got £200 for 4x half worn runflats. Certainly softened the blow.

Hmmm...that's not a bad shout. I'd imagine 3 Series chaps would be looking for Potenzas too.

Will do a bit of research and see what the cost to change could be. Thanks for the suggestion!
