Probably My roads being resurfaced by the council this month, lot's have appeared...

On that topic, anyone driven over the Hogarth Lane Flyover recently? Winter has destroyed it. Wasn't in a great condition to start with, now it reminds me of the road to Semey. In Kazakhstan. It's so bad now that it's almost worth waiting for the lights at the roundabout for half a day so you don't destroy the car...

We are in the middle of having our yard concreted on our industrial estate because when it snowed really bad the other week it completely ruined it! That's 26K we could do without spending really but it needs doing!!

Sick of this bloody snow it's pissing me off now. We've just had some over the last hour but it appears to have stopped now.

It probably wasent the snow that ruined the concrete if salt was used , that more than likely did the trick , I keep telling my customers not to put salt on concrete it wrecks it !

I always loved the comment of the manager of the Severn railway tunnel on telly years a few years ago when asked what would happen if the tunnel had to close for some reason.

"Well", he said, absolutely deadpan, "I suppose England would be cut off from civilisation wouldn't it".

our council have a novel way with potholes since Prescott snet all our council tax up north, fill every other one and leave the craters.
