Oh dear. Multiple errors.

Looking at the app this morning, the car is being worked on. Bonnet is open ;)

Hopefully find out today what’s wrong with it.

That’s progress…
Unless they’ve just opened the bonnet and walked away!
Hopefully you’ll get some good news later this afternoon!

I hope they give a call fast with good news.

I must say that here in the Netherlands the service of the BMW dealer is good and they inform you neatly about the condition of your car.
At least that was the case when I brought the E46 M3 to them.
I'll have to wait and see with the Z4 but that will be fine.
It is a premium brand so I think they let them act accordingly.

* biting my tongue *

It's not the brand per se, it's the dealer, finding a good one always helps with the experience, unfortunately for Rus Z4, he found a particularly inept one. Let's be honest if you had your car and it broke down on Friday, you'd still be waiting for the low loader :poke:

And when they did arrive it’d be at the wrong location :tumbleweed:, poor Russ

Update.

Not good news.

It appears wires were chewed by rodents or cut on both sides of my front. These rodents must be very precise with their cuts and avoid all the cats around my car park.

I’m so upset as this is going to cost me big. :(

Oh man. So sorry to read this.

Where are these cables, I can’t make out where abouts in the engine bay this is?

Do you reckon this is the work of some malicious cretin?

I meant that in order of the brand you may expect that the dealers are also at that level. But often it isn't.
Yes for you it's very very terrible. Hopefully it will be solved soon.

Oh that pretty f..ktup, is some part of the Netherlands we have them also. But with a ultrasound device they stay away.
Unfortunately for this comes to late.
Hope that the cost are not to high and maybe the dealer can help you to reduce the costs.

Missed this! But yeah, knowing my luck! Although Ori seems to be having his fair share now!

Guys, I was being a bit tongue in cheek accusing rodents.

It was a clean cut on both sides so obviously deliberate. Maybe someone was trying to cut my brake lines but doesn’t have a clue.

I’ll be collecting my dash cam from bmw and hopefully it will show up who the culprit is.
This is a low car and someone had to really struggle to get behind the wheels to cut these wires.

Long and long of it. £650 down the drain.

No way is this for real???
I hope for you that you can identify the person how did this.

WTF ! :o

Yup. For real.

Someone went into my back car park and cut cables behind the front wheels of my car.

It is so messed up.

That’s what I was reading into it. I was looking at those pics thinking that’s pretty low down on the car and the clean cuts look pretty malicious.

This could get interesting if you can get an identity. I suspect you won’t - but a good lawyer would be gearing up for attempted murder.

Ori, sorry to hear this. All a bit strange.

Could it be someone thinking they were cutting alarm cables, or immobiliser?

Any CCTV covering where it was parked?

That would be odd cutting what feels like the same cable both sides for alarm. Already discussed with Ori earlier, to me, old school thinking cutting brake pipes without the knowledge that these are electrical cables  All IMO

C**NTS either way!!!!!
