Offside rear dropped slightly

Good evening,
I've just a bought a Z4m roadster, I believe it was previously owned by Paul Harvard on the forum who had obviously meticulously looked after the car, however the next owner, the guy I bought the car off I believe has been a bit dishonest with the state the car was in.

I know it's my fault as it was a private sale, anyway, the rear offside corner of the car has dropped slightly, I believe it's the spring.

I'm taking the car to the garage on Monday, hopefully they can fix it, however some advice please, is this common? What is the best solution?

It's not unusual for BMWs of this age to have broken rear springs.

If that is the problem you might as well replace both.

Make sure they are the correct length.
