So what's the maximum, no rub rub wheel/tire setup (including offsets if possible) we can get on these cars?
If you know ho well the stock wheel/tire combo with fits with spaces we can probably work back wards.
Finally, what's the consensus recommended coil-over setups. From what I'm reading it may benefit to go with a marginally softer setup for mid corner bumps? That said I do know from experience that different brand coil overs do better than others at certain ride heights. Perfect Example on my 991, The bilstein PSS9/10 setup is the most popular (and gives better handling, a smoother ride , but tends to have issues with bottoming out if you lower more than 1" frock stock height. The JIC/Cross brand unit, is setup a bit differently and doesn't run our our of travel even @ 2". Of course every car has the physical fender, liner rubbing issues, but you see how different brands have been engineered to work differently.
