Offset racing stripe fail

Well it went from an offset racing stripe to dodge SRT fender stripes really quickly after a disaster of vinyl on my hood... but ya know, I kinda like it.

What do you guys think?

Not my style but think it would look better if it went further up onto bonnet,to point of position of drvers windscreen wiper

Yeah it was going to be an offset stripe down the entirety of the passenger side of the vehicle but the. Backing paper stuck to the vinyl and it was extremely visible :headbang: Was practicing with the scraps and feel like it could be a lot worse but nice to get some practice

Agreed, it could do with extending on to the bonnet.

Also might mess with your OCD now, but is it actually parallel to the angle of the crease in the wing? :)

Now that's all I can see lol I have another stripe coming if I mess that one up then I'll do this again

Have you thought about going a bit more retro?

I do like what they did with the z on the bottom there. Never really seen anything like that done before and whoever installed it is surely talented.

The smart car made me laugh though they always will. Those things are hilarious.

I quite like the sense of humour to basically turn a Smart Car into the A Team Van

But I suspect it would be lost on your average person as I now make references to the 80’s at work & find I’m in an ever diminishing select group that get my references

Why thank you. I painted it.

Or at least I did it in "paint" :)

Had me fooled I thought it was on an actual vehicle. Was thinking man that's a huge vinyl to keep straight and bubble free

As someone that doe this stuff for a living, i love the idea..... needs abit of work to get it right but i think it will work well once implemented properly. Definitely needs to follow the body crease and follow onto the hood.

But if it follows that body crease and goes across the roof, where does it go down the other side? No chance it'll match the angle of the crease over there?
As you say needs a bit of thinking before you commit to it, but could look good.

I think he means across the hood covering the engine bay but I'm pretty sure most people on here are from the UK so for me the lingo is hard to differentiate
