Offset confusion

I've found some wheels I like but I'm confusing myself with the offsets now, could someone let me know if the following would fit please?

FRONT WHEELS: 225/35/19
8.5J X 19
38 (OFFSET)

REAR WHEELS: 255/30/19
9.5J X 19
40 (OFFSET)

If I'm reading correctly would I just need a 10mm spacer on the front?

Wheels will fit fine without spacers but tyre sizes are under what they could be .
On 8.5j 235 35 would be better & the rear 9.5 ideally 265 30 or 255 35
Very little rim protection on the current numbers & could feel harsh on the road

Standard size e89 rubber for 19s arent they Mr W?

Totally agree tho they look like rubber bands and will probably end up cracking the wheels and your fillings

Well yes standard as in from factory but that would be with the factory 8j & 9j wheels as opposed to 8.5j & 9.5j OP has mentioned .

Hi, could I ask your expert opinions again please? Some other wheels have come up very close to me but from reading above I think the tyres may be too large.

265/35/19 et38 9.5j
235/30/19 et33 8.5j

265/35/19 et38 9.5j
235/30/19 et33 8.5j

Perfect widths but profiles (if correct) are opposite to what they should be ?
The 35 should be fronts & 30 rears

Thanks again Mr Wilks.

These are the tyres on currently, I guess they'll fit then but the ride won't be great? I'd look at replacing asap

Well the ride on rear 265 35 will be good & providing you aren't lowered then they shouldn't rub . It's the fronts that need upping to 235 35

I'm in luck, picked them up today and turns out the fronts are 235/35/19 :D

I'm planning on fitting tomorrow so I will try and get some photos up

Yea the arch gap is kinda killing the look a little :( be wary how far you drop it with the rear 9.5j et 38 & 265 35 rubber , H&Rs will leave you rubbing , Eibach's don't go quite as low .

Yours looks very low and awesome, is that the H&R springs? If I could get a similar look using Eibachs with my wheel/tyre set up I'd be happy
