Just watched Shmee's Youtube video of the new Supra;
The front is dead ugly, now that I've had a better look at it. really ugly.
These parking sensors right under the plate's frame are like zits, ffs.
and indeed Honda Civic Type R boy racerish..

Yep all the red pics had me wondering, but not in this colour. Sure I read somewhere that the Toyota agreement doesn’t stop BMW from producing a Z4 coupe - maybe at facelift time again.
 
Well I much prefer it to the G29! :oops:

Now I'm just hoping Toyota do make some with a manual gearbox, and they depreciate really quickly! :lol:
 
The question is, have they incorporated the bird bath still ? It looks like it from the side.
 
Doesn't this start from 52K? thats alot pennies for a Toyota, it would be a very difficult decision between this and Porsche....not :) Interesting that Toyota haven't removed the BMW logos off the B58 engine parts, aspirations indeed.

I was quite looking to this car but seeing it now its a bit of a design mess, too much going on all over, it makes the Z4 look almost elegant.

Don't like the 'Duck Tail' but the rest looks pretty awesome. There are influences from a lot of cars, not least the LC500 from Toyota's Lexus brand.

Thought this was quite interesting, seems a strange thing to do just to ready the supra for tuners, but I guess it's quite Japan focused

After watching this car testing on the Nurburgring on a couple of occasions , the then new z4 lapping at the same time , both camouflaged , I really wanted to like this car . It looked faster than the z4 for some reason , a lot more composed in the corners . But after seeing the pics unveiled I just can't like it , I'll reserve real judgement until I see one in the metal but it's one of few cars I've witnessed that look better in testing camo .

Front is quite out there and Im not overly keen on it but it is growing on me.
The dash isnt a million miles away from the E89 dash and is 95% the same as the G29 dash.....
Rear end isnt for everyone but then the E89 rear end reminds me of a Ford Cougar...

The Sup looks better than the new Z4 IMO, I'm certainly far more likely to have a look at the Sup over the Z4. I understand that the aggressive styling isn't for everyone though.

Agree that the side profile is exceptional, really gives me the E86 vibe :wub:
 
Even my Supra-loving mate isn't like it either - too 'edgy' for him, and not a 2+2 like his current one.
