Ive got mine booked in for a Quad system at Long Life in B-ham next Friday...starting to have second thoughts :scratchhead:

The one under the railway bridges? if so dont bother... i spunked £500 with them only to have drone and not so great finish - ended up getting a custom muffler built (as did 3 others) all info futher up this thread

I thought they were supposed to be ok..obviously not!

The second thoughts I was having were after reading this thread... Putty on welds! That's because they couldn't be arsed to take the exhaust off after building it and weld the tops! Not good.. How loud was the system the way they do it? Has anyone got any vids?

That's the Problem with these systems there only as good as they guy who builds them.. I Wonder why they don't do the T style system, does anyone know anywhere in the Midlands that does a decent job...There's a few powerflow local to me but had bad experiences so their a no no.

£700 is a bit out my price range at the min, got a hardtop to collect next week... Might have to leave it for a bit... Don't like the sound of a loud boy racer system.

Well if you get to a point where it is in your budget, the noise is not far off the OEM system. Just a slightly deeper note, as like you, I didn't want a boy racer noise. Been there and don't want to return; couldn't stand the boom in the cabin.

Yeah that's what I'm after, obviously a change in tone is good, but don't want the neighbours thinking I'm getting home from a McDonald's meet.

Don't understand why long life don't build the T system with one larger box to keep the noise down, their clearly capable of doing it. Don't think it's even worth bothering to ask!

Just had my quad conversion completed and i'm a very happy chap!!!! Decided to use the M bumper rather than get original bumper cut and sourced one on the forum (thanks Mark). After much research and homework on here and other forums I armed myself with loads of pictures of other peeps conversions and booked myself in at Tony Banks Longlife Leeds. The guys were very helpful and the end result is just what I wanted. I would say it is marginally louder on hard acceleration, but not obtrusive,and I now have an aesthetically pleasing rear end!!!!

Thanks chaps Its a T jobby similar to quite a few others on here, they also painted the cross pipe black so it wouldnt show through grill
