I think it's a wicked idea, id never buy a Mini but I would an Evoque..

A seriously well Supercharged one *might* get me out of the MR finally..

But the Evoque is a completey different car to the mini..... Like said above it more like the X5-X3......

I really like it but if i traded the Freelander Sport in id go for a Range Rover Sport instead.

Just had an email from my old school mate, who is over in Spain testing this as we speak, lucky sod.

Only just spotted this today;

I like the styling of this car trouble is its just freelander 2 oily bits underneath......... the new X3 might not look as radical but i think its a far better bet particularly with the mpg they are claiming. I would have thought LRs money would have been better spent reskinning the freelander to cope with the competition from the X3/Q5.

Last year I drove the RRS TDV8 both on and off road and was really let down by it..... pretty car ... and suprisingly good offroad .... worth the extra premium over the land rover counterpart .... not really.

What price does it come in at and will my 2 gundogs fit in it!
I would buy it for the shoot every 2 weeks if reasonable price :D

Surely a nice metallic grey 90 breathed on by the guys at twisted performance would be more fitting for the shoot ?

(unbreathed on)

starts around 30k for the evoque i believe....

can't imagine the boot is that big .. FL2 boots are pretty small considering the size of the car

Already have mine on order, and was at Paris for launch. Even better ithe flesh.....3 models at launch

Talking to my contact who was testing them in Spain last month & he thinks it's an awesome car - stunning to see in the metal and drives brilliantly.

Is convinced they are going to sell by the bucket load and won't be able to make enough of them. Clever concept.. I'd love one as the 2nd car

I think this will be a great seller if they price it realistically!

depends on your definition of realistically... Ive read 50k :o

Starts at 30K, up to about 45K - three model types - engines to be confirmed....

I like it especially the front!
Much better than horrible looking X6!!
30k is reasonable for this car IMO.

Id agree 30k is much more reasonable...

Car magazine must've got it wrong again - their quote "£47k plus options for three door hatch on stilts"...
