+1 for diffuser, but want know the price..
OEM price is 630 eur in italy!
@bassrebel you have a mail :)

Thank you guys, due to the overwhelming inquiries about the diffuser, Carbon Black Gold agreed to make a group buy for the Z4. They are still ironing the details, but they are expecting to have diffusers for z4 pre-lci, lci and z4m. Like the Carbon Fiber Dash trim, they will be made out of 100% Prepreg Carbon Fiber, not overlaid over oem, or overlaid over fiberglass, or wrapped. This will be the real deal.

As far as I'm concerned, BMW doesn't make the OEM style anymore. If anyone can send me a link regarding that will be appreciated.

Thank you,

Danny

i don't care about weight of diffusor, so overlaid over fiberglass is the best way for me.
Guys we no have lotus or catheram, so we no need full carbon pieces... fiberglass + carbon have the same exterior result and is cheaper

Danny

Thats what BMW confirmed last week when i enquired.

The only thing is that based on what Muse has indicated, he just wants to buy one so he can build a replica out of fiberglass and lay Carbon Fiber on it, which, in my opinion, seems a bit unfair

Unfair to who? If buyers are aware it is fibreglass with CF skin and it is a cheaper version of a pure CF item, then it would cater for a cheaper market than your product. If the price gap is very small, then yes, most would probably go full CF for the small difference.

Not unfair to the buyer, but to the person making the CF diffusers, which he has to hand made (mold and everything) so that someone can just take that job and make a replica out of it... in my opinion it seems unfair...

Danny i wont buy fiberglassed diffusor to make with carbon myself.
You told that carbon gold make 2 solution:
1 fiberglassed + carbon
2 full carbon
I told that for us (z4 owners) the first way is better cause cheaper and with same exterior result.
But if The price of full carbon is not expensive its ok for me :)

Who need diffusor for group-buy?

1x Muse
2
3...?

But can't they just make fibreglass version themselves. I bet they'd sell a lot more. The market would most likely be for the cheaper option as the weight saving would be minimal IMHO.

I spoke to him regarding that and there might be a possibility of a wrapped option, but he has concerns about the exhaust heat and the durability of fiber glass... Well keep working on it to be able to satisfy 99.9% of the customers hehe
