Thanks for the reply. No I don't have any wheels to p/x, mine has 16 inch alloys which I was going to keep for winter etc. Will they definitely fit a 2004 2.2? They won't rub or foul etc?

They will fit perfectly. Mines lowered, quite a lot and it doesn't foul or they don't stick out the arches hopefully you can see in pics. 800 would be my lowest though

Pm me for any more info. Thanks! Jamie

I'm going to order some new BMW centre caps - did you say 68mm? The car had just been jacked up when I took that photo so I am hoping it will settle and reduce the gap in the wheel arches, I've had very little time today as I had to go collect some other bits when I got home so I've only fitted 2 wheels and not moved the car.

I don't think the centres are 68mm I think they are 66mm. I tried the genuine BMW 68mm centres from my old wheels and they just won't fit. I will see what I can find on eBay.

Here is a better photo of the car with the new rims taken today. They look great but I feel they need a BMW centre badge to finish them off.

Cheers!

They look great!! Wish I had gone for them now. Not easy picking a set.
How do they fit? Any rubbing at all? Can you full lock without issue?

They fit fine and I've had no problems though I haven't actually tried full lock to be honest. I will do next time I take her out. I was going to get some 18 inch genuine BMW wheels but by the time you spend £250 on a set plus £280 refurb (£70 per wheel here in Derby) you're up to £530 then add the price of new rubber on top. Plus a lot of 18 inch wheels seem to be cracked or have been welded (maybe due to run flats) so I saw this set of rims as a perfect buy for me. I still have my 16 inch set to put back on whenever I want to.

Thanks for the honest answer. I hope you will manage to avoid any serious rubbing.
Yeah, I'm holding out for a decent set of staggered mv2s. Although, I saw an e85 recently with e46 m3 alloys and was like damnnn
