OEM USB/AUX into headunit?

Has anyone installed the OEM USB/AUX in their Z4 yet? I know there are many many people who have done the OEM AUX but can't find anyone using the OEM USB/AUX. Not sure if my headunit (06, nav, dsp) can support the USB functionality of the OEM unit. If at least power would work out of the USB port then that is also a win.

As has been said - not aware the headunit has any functionality for this....

I'm sure if you wanted you could connect the aux in to the jack plug with a bit of soldering, and imagine you could either just run power to the USB via a hidden ciggy adapter so that you can charge a phone from it, or possibly wire the ipod interface up to it - not sure whether that goes down to a 4 wire USB interface or not at the back of the radio.
 
This one post wonder is most likely a spammer, made obvious by his half-arsed attempt at search engine optimisation (repeating the phrase "OEM USB/AUX" every few words) and a link to what I would bet is either his own or his clients website/product. I believe a ban/delete is in order ;)

Don't be an ass. If I was a spammer, I must have jumped in my deloren and travelled back in time to create this account a few years back.

Not a spammer, I post on zpost every now and than. Haven't had luck with a response from them.
 
Apologies, didn't notice the join date. I run my own forum and get several spammers a week making very similar posts.
