As per the title - has anyone used these guys for their OEM CSLs?

A quick google search will give you the address - they list both the CSL alloys and the 224s as available for the Z4M variants.

Any advice / experiences welcome!

I havent used them but apparently Sopers BMW do a forum discount, you may get them cheaper there.

Wow - well that's a very expensive way of getting hold of replicas!

I'm guessing I'll need a chassis number for Sopers? Any ideas how to do that......??

No need for chassis numbers for csl wheels afaik at any dealer, it's the bumpers and other body bits some get a bit fussy about.

I'll refer you to this:

Check with the supplier re all the markings before parting with your cash.

Sytner wanted a chassis number from me, I went to Bridgewater BMW, Taunton, didn't need one and got 10% off without asking, Sebastian was the guy if he's still there, they were £1740

I don't think anyone except BMW will get you Genuine CSL's, check the guide Steves posted up, it was invaluable to me

OEM CSL's are ET44 fronts NOT 47 :x

Standard E46 M3 ran a narrower front 8j wheel with et 47 / the E46 M3 CSL had the 8.5 et 44 fronts

Ahhh cheers Andy, still worth doing homework on these though, pics of the backs etc

For sure D , so many fakes + copies around & no-one wants their pants pulling down

Try Cotswold too they do great prices for M3cutter forum on CSL wheels, Call up parts and ask for Phil and mention cutters :)

Cs wheels i think as only difference is front 8/8.5j
Plus ask them for rear pics as bbs stamped etc on rears
Plus sopers over rated
Got mine from bmw as didn't find sopers either helpful or cheap

Thanks all folks - my friendly local BMW dealer is now sourcing a set for me....

Last question - views on spacers for these - I'm running my 224s on Eibach 12mm spacers all round as this really helps with both the way the car looks and drives - I'm working on the assumption the CSLs don't need these?

Many thanks! :driving:

Thanks Beedub...

Nothing at the rear required then? From what I've seen on willtheyfit.com, it follows that spacers at the front work, but no need at the back.

*CORRECTION* - I'm running 8mm spacers on mine currently, not 12mm reported above...
