Following sale of the car I have an external OEM car cover for sale. Its for a coupe but not sure whether its the same one for a vert. 4 months old, a bit dirty (machine washable) but otherwise in excellent condition. Very quick and easy to use. Taking offers by PM.

Thanks

Hi Danny

Is this the NOAH one as in part number 82-11-0-417-600?

Does it still have the BMW storage back and packaging?

Thanks!

HI

Sorry hadn't plugged in for a while.

I am not sure it is exactly that part (might be an ubdated version) because I googled the part number and then looked at photos from the resultant link and its slightly different from that pictured. Firstl, its a shiny silver rather than a matt. It also has the BMW roundel on the bonnet and not "BMW" on the front bumper and from recollection it doesn't have as many seams. Other than that it looks exactly the same.

It was, however, ordered and collected from the parts counter at my local main dealer. It comes in a soft bag about 3ft by 2 with a rubber sucker on it. You stick that to the top of the windscreen, unzip it and out folds the cover. U unfold the bit that goes over the bonnet first, then the bit that goes over the roof and boot. You slip the mirrors into elasticated pouches designed for the purpose and then slipt the elasticated front edge snugly over the front bumper. You then do the same at the back (removing aerial first). There is a toggle on a cord conneted to the cover which you shut in the boot to prevent the cover from being nicked. You then zip it up at the back by the exhaust (don't put it on hot exhausts) close a securing clip and if you really want to pull two drawstrings to tighten it all up. Its all very snug and all you can see of the car once done is an inch or two of the bottom of the wheels. - everything else is covered. There is a clear plastic window that lines up with the back plate. To take off reverse the process. Folds up very easily back into its bag which you then just sip up, remove from the windscreen and pop in the boot (or where ever).

Hope this helps...

Just twigged link won't take you all the way. From the drop down list on the linked page, choose z4 coupe, then exterior, then car cover and it will come up.

Thanks
