Oddments tray

Looking for assistance in removing the oddments tray on the right of the steering wheel, right hand drive. The latch on mine has broken, I've tried removing it but can't work out how it comes out.

Mine didn’t have one so I bought one off eBay - it’s screwed into the main panel, from behind which you have to remove, can’t just pop out the tray bit. I had to buy the main panel as well, I thought I could just cut a hole in the one I had but alas not.

The whole panel comes out but it goes under the stearing wheel over to the key slot.

Slow methodical approach and it’s doable cos I made it up as I went! Although I struggled with it around the key slot area and thought I might break something cos I had to pull it quite a bit.

Thanks for the info, I thought I could just remove the tray. I've ordered a new tray just waiting for it to arrive. I'll have to remove the panel as you say
