I picked my car up from Synters today following it's routine oil change. It seemed to be running fine till I got home and was met with a horrible mechanical rubbing/knocking sound when turning off the ignition. I have stuck my head under the bonnet and it seems to be emanating from the left underside of the engine. Previous to the oil change there was no sound at all.
