Yup, weird events on the commute home tonight, first gremlins from my beloved z4?

Basically, foot off the gas, no braking, getting ready for the usual roadwork’s and the following happened:-

>Instrument lights came on - DSC control and handbrake light (yellow not red), DSC was on before this happened and pressing the centre console switch made no difference.
>Steering went a bit heavy and all of a sudden the steering wheel started to wobble, not violently but enough to notice.
>Slowed down and pulled off the motorway and at the next lights, turned off and turned on the ignition, no lights!
>Went back on the motorway and same lights came on, drove the last 5 miles very carefully, no more than 45MPH. Car felt a little heavy to drive at the front.

I'm heading back out to check tyre pressures, they are stock RFT and on first inspection were still rock solid, even the middle part.

Thought if it was a flat the tyre indicator would light?

Suggestions before I start to worry? I will report back the pressures and no doubt get fleeced tomorrow by the stealer, no warranty and an 04 plate 3.0. Can’t find the flippin manual to check that.

You have a puncture. Probably a front tire. Before you go to the dealer in the morning, make up your mind about how comfortable you feel about repairing RFT's. The general consensus seems to be that punctures in the tread area are repairable but side wall punctures are most definitely not. Also, there seems to be some concern about the degradation in the speed rating of a repaired tire. The dealer will most probably try to sell you a new tire. He makes a profit and the liability issues are covered. Your call. Good luck.

Checked the tyre pressures last night, a little low front off-side and negligable front near-side, rears were fine and to be fair,it's been a few weeks since they were checked  . Went round with the compressor and checked again this morning and all 4 were fine, I'll check again during lunch as they may only defalte slightly during use? Interstingly, the two dash indictaors were not showing this morning (manual describes the indicators as DSC+TCS+TBC failure) and was able to toggle DSC and TCS via the console switch as normal. Re the tyres, if any need replacing the RFT's are getting ditched for Sport ZP's or Falkens so it may work out well!

OK, can't get car booked in until next week and the lights intermitently come on and go off. Noted on some other forums that suggest a binding calliper and I've noticed where I'd expect the car to roll it seems to hold itself on a very slight incline. Is that a wheel's off job and check for binding? How easy is it to clean the calliper if that's the case? Wondering if it's simply down to the three weeks of solid rain (feels like it anyway), the car has been driven to work but not used much over the weekends...

Thoughts?
