Odd looking Sat Nav

Wonder if you could dispose of the OEM sat nav screen and fit a dock for Tom Tom as in the Clio? That might look quite neat
 
I'm also wondering whether the built-in antenna would still function well enough when an aftermarket satnav is fitted in the console...
 
I just scored a monitor of Ebay for 210 euro delivery included... not bad (I think) :)

I also noted that those screens are extremely expensive in the states? Saw some on Ebay for 2000 dollars... and I double-checked: it's only the monitor :o
 
$2000!? A NEW one from BMW North America can be had for $1700. Everyone knows with fleabay it's buyer beware.
