Gauntlet accepted, advice from srhutch fleabayed

 love these threads, I often think I've got some sort of "issue" and then I come on here and realise I'm not the only one! :?

Fortunately Bing’s not on here much anymore, I caught OCD off of him, it reoccurs every so often but Dragon Lady medicine keeps it mostly under control

Mine are ok right now, need a proper fine wire brush touch up, but autosol every time the car is washed leaves them like this 8)

I don’t know why they look a weird shape in the first pic, must just be the light as they’re perfectly round :?

It must have been a hard weekend, your tail pipe looks like it’s taken a real beating.... :P

I had a quick go at cleaning my exhausts yesterday. They are clean ish on the outside but I doubt they have ever been cleaned on the inside. I’ve been using 0000 grade wire wool and autosol. Results not too impressive at the moment, Is it just a case of sticking with it?

Apparently you can cheat using a mop drill bit & something similar to this 40/60mm Cotton Buffing Polishing Wheel Mop Pad 1/4'' Shank For Drill Cylindrical https://rover.ebay.com/rover/0/0/0?mpre=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.ebay.co.uk%2Fulk%2Fitm%2F222918458005

Am just waiting for mine to arrive

Thanks, I’ll give that a go.

Not really appropriate for the M specific as I've only got 2.

But I'm pleased with how mine came up with rags and Autosol. I probably just need to apply it a bit further up (and on the inside)!

How more shiney have people got?

Appreciate a few pics of others so can either call it a day or spend 3 more hours next weekend with the dremel & some new polishing bits
Looks like your toenails need a polish too, Jem!
