Occupancy sensor bypass

With yours you disconnect the grey wire from the black/yellow box, and that is no redundant. Then you need the black box from under your original seat, and the wire that connects to the black/yellow box (2 bits), and of course the bypass box. Then they will sit under your new seat 
Hope that makes sense, but basically you have to replicate your old seat mat, as the new one is different

Ahhh. Thats where I'm having issues, I havent got the oringal parts from my old seats... Off to the dealers!

Thankfully - Doesnt look it should be that bad. Looks like the modules are about £35 ish.

That price was from an e-bay trader (but still new OEM part)
I'd also e-mailed a few breakers, the same part is used on lots of cars, x5, x3, 6 series, 5 series. So shouldnt be too hard to get one from a breakers..

Right, need some help to finish off the job. Got all the parts I need.
Can anyone tell me what colour wires (from the car not seat terminal block) See below. Connect to the terminal of the occupancy control..
As I've had to buy all the parts new, I havent got the old setup to compare to and replicate. Can anyone help?
3x terminals on the seat occupancy control. Labelled 1,2,3
Need to know which of the below wires, matches the specific terminals on the control module.
- Brown and Black
- White and red
- Purple

I read this as:
Pin 1 = VI/BL - Violet/Blue (R<13 Term. R, radio on, fuse 13)
Pin 2 = BR/SW - Brown/Black (31E Term 31, electronic earth)
Pin 3 = WS/RT - White/Red (SBE Seat occupancy detector)
:!: Please check the link for yourself, I don't want you to get this wrong due to mis-information from me! The section you want is:
Complete vehicle
> body
+ > Safety functions
+ > Seat occupancy recognition
+ > Passenger (right-hand drive)

It seems to tally up with what you have.
I have mentioned this elsewhere recently (you may want to not read this Elliot) but the easy option for this is to get someone with Autologic to code out the sensor. Haven't seen it done but am told, but a local indi, that it's an easy option.
