Talk about bad timing - just when we're due for a hoon on Sunday my 3.0si has just started to produce a very occasional misfire. :|
Started yesterday - slight stutter for half a second at low revs as I set off from home (2nd gear). Then noticed at speed on a dual carriageway - just a couple of interruptions for a 3rd of a second. No warning lights on. . .
Went to see my Indy for advice - he recommend I continue to run the car as the warning lights won't show until there has been a more sustained period of engine disruption at which point the coding will make diagnosis clearer.
Today Steph had 3 interruptions each for about half a second. No warning lights.
The Zed has been faultless at all other times. Still no engine or management light. . .
The Zed is an AUC and has a year's warranty (bought Jan this year). Any thoughts/suggestions? Can't get it sorted for sure until I get a warning light and coding - likely a rogue plug? Coil? I think I will take the Zed on the hoon - it may throw up the coding I need. Any other time this wouldn't be such an annoyance.
