Obtaining vehicle specification

Can someone point me in the right direction to help me get the exact vehicle specification for my car - I think there's a place where I type my VIN number in and it reveals the spec it came in.

Tried the search facility but couldn't find it.

Cheers, Ming

Okay. Just tried the link and after entering the VIN number from the log book a message says "oops, something went wrong", solve the captcha.

But there isn't a captcha, and the VIN number is confirmed on the plaque on the dash and on the door pillar, plus on the paperwork I have from BMW. Is there another UK site I can check the validity of the VIN number on?

There is a box that says ,i am not a robot, tick this box.

Cheers - I was just entering the vin number and clicking return on my laptop, without scrolling past the adverts to the captcha and submit boxes :headbang:

Considering that automation is supposed to save us time why not not change that box to "I am a robot" - then the robots can deal with those bloody captchas instead?

I tried the link an it took my to another webpage where they wanted £15 for the check!
Thought there used to be a free one?
Good few years since I sold my 3.0Si though so might be wrong

Just tried that one, again. Both times it comes up saying I've reached my daily limit for some reason.

I’ve just clicked on the link I’ve posted and used a VIN I found on here from a previous prospective purchase (WBALM32000E516875) and it worked first time.

I've tried it several times in the last couple of weeks mate, same error every time.

Will try from phone.

Exact same result from phone, as soon as I access site. Weird.

Yes it is, I used the random VIN because I knew it wouldn’t be cached or anything.

Ping me over your full VIN on PM if you want me to give it a try??

I’ve tried this one a few times and is working for me. If it doesn’t work for anyone else contact me for Wednesdays lottery numbers, I’m only on a small commission

If this works for you, you can export to pdf
