Just bought a lovely 2.0i Sport Z4 and simply love it. Wonderful nippy drive, sounds awesome, looks awesome, just great. However, do you find looking out of the window just to see the car, or get a little jump in your step as you finish work and you know you get to give the car a spin even though its possibly a short drive home?? :driving:

Perfectly normal behaviour. I've had mine now nearly two years and kept coming up with excuses today to do things with Mr. Z, even polished the pedals!! There is no cure!

I know that feeling ;)

However, my zed has been promoted to weekend only car, and I'm getting withdrawal symptoms....

Wait to you go looking for large reflective shop windows to drive past ,then its bad  :)

Yup - new library where I live, very flash and all glass. I love driving past it. It's a bit wavy too, so looks very arty. I am actually working out how I can park up on a dual carriageway, nip out and takes a few snaps without getting nicked :D

Welcome to the forum - you you, and your wallet

I reckon we all take a sneaky look at the reflection in a shop window, and try to get a good exhaust note whenever we can :)

Also, Welcome!

Odd isn't it?
I have an identical problem.

Maybe it is this forum?
All that validation of what a fine vehicle we have bought is sowing madness.

I love being at work and seeing my car in the car park. It doesn't get better than a glass shopfront or a tunnel though. Roof down driving brings a guaranteed smile! So does seeing your reflection after a hard day washing, claying and polishing.

It's amazing how nice mine can sound just accelerating to 30mph. I get the odd disapproving look, then check my speedo just to be sure. Nice.

Standard behaviour I'd say :-) I love opening the garage and seeing mine waiting to be driven just as much getting in it after work for the drive home :driving:

Welcome and its absolutely normal and to be expected!

The Z4 delivers the feel good factor in abundance!

Now, get yourself a ZHP gearknob, chrome tailpiece and stubby aerial!
