Hi John,

No is the short answer. National Window guy rocks up and immediately said "ooo never done one of these before" even though the depot said they will send someone with z4 experience. Took 5mins and said couldn't do it unless another chap was with him. Then said the Apillar seals were very complicated and as they are integrated as part of the top window seal he didn't know what would be involved. BMW quoted 4hours and £1k. So how this guy would do it without new seals I thought no chance.

Worse thing is a leaking roof so I showed him a video of how to stop the crack growing and backfill the resin. It's done an ok job but will do for now. I can live with a slight cosmetic issue and not needing to think of leaks. If it worsens I will push for dealer repair.
