I was 16 in the early sixties and can assure you that girls were much the same as they are today. Mini skirts, the introduction of 'the pill' the start of 'sex, drugs and rock and roll.' The Beatles, Rolling Stones, Carnaby Street - a complete revolution. The so called 'War Babies' are in their 70's now and starting to slow down a little. Well some are. Peaceful in the early sixties? not a bit of it.
