O/S A-pillar squeak anyone?

Coupe has recently developed this really high pitched squeak. Occurs when driving on bumpy or uneven surfaces, seems that it takes very little for it to squeak. If I push the pillar in certain places I can easily replicate the squeak. Its like a high pitched plasticy type squeak.

Probably isnt to hard to fix but just wondered has anyone had this problem before I attempt to tackle it myself? Or any advice for dealing with such squeaks.

only a thought but could it be the under bonnet strut bolts worked a little loose .
Certainly accounts for loud cracks and BMW have uprated the bolts certainly for my 07 :|
 
Try repositioning the steering wheel, cleaning in the gap between the wheel and the cowling and then putting back.
 
wegras - will check it out but dont think its coming from there, if you the pillar you can hear it squeak is all.

daffy - will check it out too.
