I've done one ortho job and A&E and pulled rakes etc out of people but I'm not best placed to answer your question.
Someone who's in Plastics will be better than me. BMWZ4MC will know more even though he's an awfulpod :poke:

Carol thats hilarious

MM - given that it doesnt look like you have 'lost' too much skin ie cut into it, it will depend on whether the skin flap maintains its vascular supply - if it has then I doubt very much you will need grafts, but only time will tell... best thing you can do is follow advice to keep it clean, what you really dont want is an infection.

Agree re Ruby and tetanus, make sure you are up to date.

Im off to work shortly for a night of covering Trauma and cepod, although might try and escape to neuro theatre for a change!
 
Ouch ... and I thought mine was bad today when I slipped down the steps outside and am raw from my foot to my knee as a nice bloody mess ... :x
