But would the get the elevation changes correct? Unlikely as finding a bit of land with the correct variations in height to replicate the 'Ring correctly would be near impossible...

Thing is they probably won't want to do that... it will be exactly the same as the Nurburgring, just with the corners and the undulations removed to suit American suspension.

Yes I agree it's easy enough to MEASURE the elevation change, but to actually find the land to be able to replicate it I doubt it. There's some serious elevation changes around the Nurburgring and I'm pretty sure Vegas is fairly flat!
