Tunnel cheaper than ferry :? that's a first , its normally £120ish upwards on tunnel / £80ish LDlines Dover-Calais :?

That's what I was thinking , but they do a cheap short term return sometimes . Dover Dunkirk is a good ferry crossing for the ring , puts you a little further up the road and plenty of time to rest , usually quite cheap also .

i was getting the ferry from Hull rather than dover as thats a 5 hour drive on a friday down A1 and M25, but the cost even with fuel seems tunnel is cheaper.

Yea the Hull crossing is convenient for northerners but can add up more expensive
As Paul points out the Dover - Dunkirk is probably the cheapest channel crossing available

It's supposed to take longer but every time I've used it there's nothing in it time wise , not as busy and further up the road , just the port is a bit of a dump , or was last time I used it a few years ago .

Internal cameras are fine, but make sure the external camera is well-hidden, otherwise the marshals might send you back to the car park to remove it.

thanks for that, on my drag car they are both sides near the rear wheel arch and on the front wings, and never get issues with scrutineers.

but this is a different game, i might see if i can fit one behind the kidney grill :)

but i may have to come up with a way to turn it on/ off there :|
