I will be posting some photo's of my new car (hurry up and make it BM) and I would like to know how to "swirl" the number plate so it cannot be read.

Step by step guide please, as the brain cells are going fast :?

Thanks

I was starting to confuse myself with the instructions so I'll leave it for one of the IT wizards on here. sorry.

Just go into mspaint and put a yellow square over a couple of digits.

If someone really wanted to, you can unswirl the photo... just like they did to that paedo who use to take pictures of himself with children and swirled his head. The police just unswirled them and he's now in jail :D :thumbsup:

Err, think I need a bit more of a blow by blow instruction please :poke: :)

photoshop, you can just "rubber stamp" on the background color. Photobucket has an edit tool. As mcbeee said, if we know which editor you're using, we can help more.

Start -> Run, type 'mspaint'
Open the file you want to edit
Select the square icon on the left.
Below that icon, 3 more squares appear. (line only, square with lines, just a square) Select the bottom one
select the Pipett/pick colour icon to the left of the magnifying glass.
Click on a part of your registration number that contains yellow or white (this will now use that colour for the fill)
Click and hold to draw a square over your number plate
Save image (or 'Save as' if you want to keep the original)
