Any GB registration before 2001 would not have the letter Z in it, as it was exclusively used for Northern Ireland, which has a different format.

Number plates seem cheap in the UK when you see the price people pay for “historic” number-only plates here. To understand the strangeness of people, bear in mind that adding a single letter into a string of numbers would take the price from hundreds of thousands or even millions of of dollars to a couple of hundred:

Combinations such as PONDY or Z4MC are readily available and would cost $450 pa, so the choice is either of these at $50,000:

My company is called "Icon Air Conditioning".
In 2001 I bought X3 1CON and W3 1CON for our two vans. Both were £250. I gave those away aswell! :headbang:
