Number plate size

I would like to assign my private plate to my recently purchased Zed.
There are a number of different options and one of them is the size. I think a slightly smaller plate would look nicer on the front.
Has anyone ordered a non standard size? Thoughts?

I have a small plate on the rear,legal as long as the spacing is correct and border is of correct width

No problem, just make sure in the message to seller you include that you want road legal shortened plates

Any issues I’ve also used this link and they let you specify shorted plates straight off. Same company so use the 2nd one

Only because the front has a plate holder that may look odd with smaller plate,the rear goes direct to rear bumper.

So I've ordered the regular sized plates for now. Will see how I feel with those. I may order a smaller size later on.
