Never been a fan of the cheap looking plastic mounts on any modern car and the E86 is no exception. Plate now held on with Guru Auto-Mount Number Plate Tape which is thinner than most of the foam alternatives and covers the entire back of the plate.

It's a ZunSport Grille. It was on the car when I bought it together with a set to cover the Kidney Grilles too but they're now in a box as I fitted some new Matt Black Grilles.

Does your plate cover the holes left by the rivets?
If so I can see my number plate mount coming off very soon. :lol:
Penelope said:Yes. Luckily the holes are well within the outer border of the both the black plastic mount and the number plate so there is nothing showing once you re-attach the plate. You'd only have an issue if you had a shorty horizontal plate. My Halfords plate already seemed to have a natural curve in it too so it fit perfectly to the contour of the body. Not sure if this is the same for pre facelift E85s?
