Number Plate Bulbs

Hi, one of the bulbs is gone on my rear number plate lights...

I have noticed that some of the newer BMW's seam to have a different color light on the number plate... has anyone fitted these on their Z4, or can someone recommend a good source other than a BMW Dealership for getting the OEM bulbs, thanks in advance...
 
The newer BMW models have LED lights for the number plate lights these can be retrofitted to older BMW's.

Do a search for led numberplate lights. :thumbsup:

Hi, sorry to bring this back up... didn't want to create a new post, but does anyone know how i can go about replacing the original bulb... can these be bought in halfords and are they hard to fit, thanks in advance

Cool, i just rang Halfords... they have them in stock €10.99 for 2 bulbs...

How do you clip the old ones out... sorry, i am not near by car at the mo...

I thought you need to have a different module / unit for the bulbs to work

Is that not the way it is for the main head lights (if you wanted to change to LED)
