NS door lock itimitant.

hey all,

asked in the newbie thread but thought it try here as-well.

fault that has occurred.

passenger door lock sometimes works and sometimes not when the opened with key? id guess a crappy solenoid starting to fail? can i buy one from the breakers and just fit it? or does
it need to be reprogrammed by BMW?

does anyone know what part would be needed?

Hi there
Happened to me the same as you sent off gm5 module for repair and when it came back it solved the problem
Here is a post i commented on and they had their gm5 module repaired and it worked for them also.

If it's only the passenger door giving trouble, it's probably the actuator cable has frayed, causing much more resistance to move the lock.
