I once had the good fortune to participate in a tour of one a local car enthusiast's garage collections (he does have more than one) and was left with some fun glimpses at how the upper crust gets to play. The owner drives all of the cars he owns and thse shots do not cover the collection at the one location:
He does like his track time with the Lotus brand:
That is the nose of an Enzo sticking out in the background.
This is the reflection of an F50 off the door of a 360 with the tail of his Enzo on the left:
He also has an F40 on the other side of the F50 and 2 more 360s on the other side of the one I used for this shot.
I'd love a chance to drive a Caterham but once again far beyond my means:
This one is close to being a true Garage only specimen as there only a couple in existence:
There were also about 4 or 5 Porsche's including 2 Carrera GTs and a few GT3s just for fun drives.
I asked him how he decides what to drive on any given day and the response was that he just shows up, opens the garage door and then grabs a set of keys depending on his mood for the day......
Must be nice - sigh......
