NOW SOLD - Sterling Grey 2004 Z4 3.0i SE SMG

First viewer has now paid a deposit so looks like it's sold and goes next Monday - I will be very sad but hope the new owner will bring it along to forum meets - he's only 35 miles away and seems like an honourable chap with a bit of an MX5 background

Thanks again for all the comments - loved every minute of Z4 ownership and not ruling it out again in future. I ain't leaving here anytime soon though - having far too much fun - and now need to start winding up the honourable member for Essex about red roof bragging rights !

So Mr Zed has gone today & we're genuinely quite sad - more so than any car I've ever owned & sold. Without question the forum has been hugely responsible for much of the fun we've had.

Think he's gone to a good home and hopefully will appear at some forum meets this year & hope we can keep attending in the wrong car. Whilst I feel like "my watch has ended" - it's not cos I'm just gonna be one of those annoying other German marque owners that hangs around here for the banter ! :driving:

But good to know it's gone to a good home, at this rate the hangers on at the back will outnumber the zeds at the front :rofl:

Yeah but I still have a scale model of a Z4 bought in BMW Velt Munich so that must count for something ! Sadly some of the P forums are a tumble weed strewn ghost town bereft of humour, originality or anything other than an apparently alien language composing mostly of numerical acronyms, such as 50s, GT3s, 2s, RS, 963, ( aw heck - I'll be barred there too now !) Just where can a homeless forumite go ?
 
Glad you got it sold Jack even though it wasn't me! Cracking car ..........but so is the Boxster!
