Hello, Just to help those who are looking for a Z

1/ On this board on the 25 Oct 09 you posted you're car was an 03, yet you're add states it's an 04?

2/ You state the 0- 60 time of 5 seconds (standard 0-60 5.9) what major engine mods has the car had?

3/ How many owners has the car had including yourself?

sorry Kryton i only read the part about the year. It hasnt had any majot engine mods. I just read some official figures that said it was 5.4 seconds to 62 and put that down. Im obviously not as clued up as you to know its 5.9. Also i didnt really want to go into tenths of seconds on autotrader, as no one really takes much notice. But ill remember that when my advert expires, thanks again.

Its had 4 owners including me having been originally owned by BMW in Bracknall and then by one of the head office execs then another guy and then me.

Hi MAte, lots have low miles .... mines a 2003 with 21k on the clock and i just asked for the service hiostory docs and the MOT's and you can soon prove the authenticity of the mileage. Also do a HPI check and check that its all legite !!!!!

My 2003 53 3.0 is great, no problems so urs will be fine. The rattly doors need sorting but i might follow the advice above just to improve things a little. (Worcs)reano7may78

BMW Z4 Reversing Chime Turn Off (help) Please !

Hello knowledgable people.

I have recently bought a BMW Z4 (2003 3.0) and cannot stand the reversing BEEP BEEP BEEP.

Please can anyone tell me how i can disable the beeping noise. The reversing sensor isnt too bad but the actual beeping that tells me im reversing (as if i didnt already know) is really annoying.

Im happy to get my hands dirty
Im happy to remove a plug (if someone can tell me where it is (and it doesnt have any other side effects)
or im happy to try a sequence of button pressing etc.

Please someone HELP .......
