Well done the deed today now sporting a new set of CSL's :D :D

Congrats

...have sort of stayed away from CLSs as can't tell if they are genuine or not, didn't think BMW dealers were still able to get hold of them...

yep pics please :)

Thats a new sort of driving, avoiding them ;)

I live up a farm track and suprisingly the car never catches or bottoms out....

Go on....You know the car will look even better when dropped!

I've just bought a set today for my Z4M Coupe believe it or not - genuine BBS CSL alloys with the correct 8.5 rims / ET 44 on the front :

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/19-INCH-CSL-ALLOY-WHEELS-/121157769029?pt=UK_CarParts_Acc_Wheels_tyres_Trims_Car_Rims_ET&hash=item1c3590d745

This set I bought for £900.00 - if you do it away from ebay & pay by card over the phone it avoids the sellers fees & a saves you £100.00  . They order them specially so even though I bought these they can obviously order more.

Perry was the guy I spoke to, really helpful & knowledgeable. He said he's done & fitted a few Z4M's with tyres with these exact same wheels and "they fit perfectly". Without any hesitation he recommended 235/35's front / 265/30's rear which is a popular choice on here so he does seem to know his CSL wheels with Z4M's! I was at pains to ask about their authenticity, he said they are guaranteed genuine BBS with all the paperwork from BBS but if I'm not happy / convinced when I get them a full refund is guaranteed.

When I asked why they are a lot cheaper than what BMW flog them for he said BBS have recently started to sell them to wholesalers like them who obviously don't put the 90% whatever it is mark-up what BMW do.

I know it's a gamble on ebay but hey, I was convinced.

Also whilst they do CSL wheel & tyre combo's eg) Continental SC 5's @ £1850.00 incl CSL wheels, I shopped around & it cheaper getting the tyres from Event-tyres, e-tyres etc incl fitting. Think I'm going for the Vredsteins, they get great reviews on here & good price.

Should be getting the CSL's in about 4 days 8)

I bet you're excited and I hope they are what they say they are.

There have been a few posts over these guys in the past, some have even sent emails looking for extra verification, me included, photos of the rear cut outs and markings but we didn't get any response so it will be interesting to see yours when they arrive.

Defonsecca - what happened with yours ?

Your wife has you on a spending ban of buying £200 springs when you have just blown all that money on a set of rims.......

Which springs do you have/ recommend? Are they a DIY job or a cheap garage job? Need spring compressors I guess!
