I've been fortunate to be able to afford one at a youngish age (25) purely because of the job I do. But seeing on this forum there are loads of youngsters here too!
At the moment we're just a happy young couple but with little ones on the way (hopefully) I'm scared I'll have to bid farewell to the Zed!
The only thing I'm confused here is the insurance, I'm 25, married and obviously a female(!) and my Zed is 2.2l with 2 years NCB, yet my insurance is still £1000 this year! I've read some fellow users getting a Z4M, male, under 25 (as young as 21) and quoted £1300? I tried to get a quote for a 3.0 Z but it was over £1300 :?

Got my sterling grey z4 two weeks ago - and this is my first post! I'm 22!

As i've said, i've got a £2000 excess, but 2 really big things for reducing my price was 1. adding my mum as a named driver and 2. saying that the car would be parked on the drive and not in the garage (amazing, but it reduced the quote by a fair amount). Hope that helps. Like Pedro says, Elephant seem to be a good insurer for us young 'uns  It's also pretty easy to go back and 'tweak' your quote through their website, too.
