Wow, that is cheap - where do you live, the Channel Islands?

I'm the same age as you and took the best quote of £246 for my 325ti yesterday (with Saga).

If there is a special secret please PM me.

Peoples republic of Scotingland -Admiral xs 250 with SWMBO as named driver

I'm 23, insurance is £600. No points or claims and 12000 miles a year. As I don't use my car for work ill probably lower that a bit for next year. Every time I add a mod its only a £20 admin fee. I don't think I'm getting a bad deal to be fair, the 63 reg Astra I had before was 750 for the year and only had a 1.4 engine.

Im 36 and my insurance cost me nothing :D I'm covered for all my personal cars on my workshop policy including any mods, my wifes covered on her's too.

I can also step into any car up to a value of £120,000 and I'm covered fully comp.

Thanks - it looks like the secret is indeed location!

Much as I like Scotingland (my dad was born there) I don't think cheaper car insurance will persuade me to relocate that far North (it's too cold).

Im 31 and I pay £600 on a 2.0i. Though the part of Manchester I live in ( M25) clearly does no favours on insurance premiums. However it is much cheaper than the £1,200 I paid last year switching from Direct Line to Aon for professionals. Well worth checking out!

Exactly - that is probably my biggest disincentive!

Hopefully if there is another referendum the English will get a vote too - after all there are more than 10 times as many of us and our foreign aid budget is way out of control.

I'm also with Aviva but seem to have come up against the limit to their tolerance of modifications.

Whats the tolerance? As in whats the limit amount?

Not sure exactly, but I've declared wheel spacers, strut brace, B12 suspension and LSD. They were touch and go because the value of the modifications is coming to a sizeable proportion of the total value. Seems a bit unfair to me as I'd probably get quoted less on a £30k saloon. Might have to go one of the specialists this year as I might change the wheels.
