Now Come On....... is this not just the most perfect weather to buzz around in a Z4 with the top down - :D :D :D :D :D

I have been buzzing around with a smile so big on my face .......... :D :driving: :D :driving: :D :driving: :D :driving: :D

How are you coupe owners enjoying the heat wave ????

Mine is hiding under a cover .... Must admit I'm nowhere near as inclined to drive it as when I had my roadie when the sun came out :-(

Followed a 3-litre E85 today with roof up. I mean why bother?!! :?

Meanwhile I was in my lovely cool Coupe, air-con on, sun protection glass keeping me in the shade. Lovely.

Not wishing to burst your bubble mr B as clearly you are loving the open air motoring experience so happy days for you but i much prefer sitting in traffic with the aircon down low & am finding its the coolest place to be after baking in the garden or sweltering in the house
As for the weather ? Loving it & hope it lasts until September

Top has not been up more than twice in the last two or more weeks :D 8)

Why not? His/her choice. Not everyone wants the roof down when it's 30c.

I had mine down today. It's nice when travelling at a fair rate of knots, but get stuck at lights or in traffic and your head be dripping with sweat in 2 minutes.

20-25c is perfect top down weather imo. I saw 33c last week whilst driving with the roof down and it was just hot air blowing around the cabin. Not nice.

I'm all for it - But have once had to put a brolley up to protect me and Steph from the searing sun whilst parked up :o But didn't care - having that roof down is blissful.

Our aircon works in the Zed even with the roof down - keeps us cool enough in this heat. Just need a hat and some sun screen - sorted!

Everyone keeps asking me where I've been on holiday - it's just driving the Zed with the roof down. . .

:driving:

In Manchester today it was 29oC at lunchtime and I was washing the Z - absolute bliss - then dropped the roof and wandered into work about 4.00pm with my Oscar Magnuson Sun Glasses on........ ahhhhhhhhhhhh heaven :driving: Cool breeze as I ripped along the Motorway into work.....

Then finished work at 8.30pm roof down again lovely sun set over the beautiful industrial north skyline - lovely cool breeze on the way home - superb "Heaven and Earth" the latest Yes album on the CD - now home enjoying a cheeky glass of red

If it was Fri 18th (Driving from Beeston to Hucknall) it was probably me, I have the top down all through the winter but when it hits 30C I prefer the top up and the air con on.

I've only had the Zed about 4 months so ive been very lucky with the weather but here's what I've found so far:

Sausagemans Roadster Rules.

1. If the sun is out - Roof Down
2. If its not raining - Roof Down
3. If its a little bit fresh - Roof Down & Heated Seat On

I love driving to work down the country lanes at 5am with the Roof down, clear roads, zorst burbling, absolutely beautiful. 8)

I didn't realise I would love the Zed so much. :D

Had mine down 80% of the way home until I hit stand still traffic on the 331 and crawled along. It was so hot I had to put the top up and the air con on.

I could never understand why many roadsters in France and Spain drove around in the afternoon with the hoods up = it's too damn hot and not a pleasant experience sitting in ball soup in a boiling hot car.

I never thought I'd say that let alone actually do it but yesterday, it was too much!
