Curse that green color....It takes better pics than mine does

That color is so classy!! Makes me wanna upgrade to the //M so bad so I can get one in that color!!!
I wish. They discontinued that color in 2005. It's the main reason I might keep mine, unless I've got an extra $3K lying around for a special order. I've seen an X5 in Olivine once, absolutely gorgeous.

Yeah they have one here. I didn't realize they discontinued it. There goes my chances for getting one when I pay this one off.

What green colors do they offer these days? Got any links? Oh, duh, I'll just go to BMWUSA.com and check it out.

[edit] Crud! No M's in green. They do offer the 3.0si in a dark green. I'd have to see one in person to know if I like it or not though. I did the build my bmw and with all the options I wanted it came in under $50,000 for a 2008. Hmmmmmm.... :scratchhead: It may be a good time to upgrade :idunno:

...AlanL...where's AlanL's photo???? c'mon..throw me a bone...please..? :tumbleweed:

Sheesh - I am still trying to decide which of the shots I got recently to toss in the ring. I did get a couple of really nice fall weekends in a row to go out and shoot recently and am still wading through all of what I shot to see what I like. Aebous' Red Rocks shot is a tough one to top.

OK. I probably won't go that far, but I'm going to try something different this month. It's dark... very dark. "Bling in the dark." darthvader.gif Enjoy:

Great pic Alan....
I love the lighting.... & wow those are big azz leaves on that tree.

Got to agree with F-N-I... your car definitely rocks

Thnx

I have been amazed at the size of the leaves on those trees ever since I moved to the NW about 10 years ago. Fittingly enough the name of it is "Big Leaf Maple".

Thanks for the kind words about the pic

I was on a bit of a roadtrip the last two weeks (more pics to come) and I took this just as I crossed from Scotland into England at 08:00 and although it was still a bit dark and cloudy, the sun really was that bright, it was amazing, like a nuclear bomb or something had gone off, you could hardly drive towards it.
