Noticed a puddle under front of car

I have noticed a puddle on the passenger side of the car, at front of engine. It just clear liquid and I can also see it dripping on the underside.

I haven't looked under the hood yet. But any tips where I should be looking what it might be.

Thanks in advance

Edit:

Forgot to say it's a 2006 coupe 3.0si

Headlamp washer leak caused mine to drip from the underside of the bumper, right at the edge in front of the tyre... causing me to worry about the radiator. Think it sounds like yours is dripping elsewhere - but thought I'd add my 2 cents anyway!

actually it is under that area where the drip appears. so that might be it. hope it's not the radiator.

Headlamp washer leak is a favourite as they seem to fail or need cycling a few times to reseal. Open the inspection hatch to see if it's wet, or mark the washer bottle

Another possibility is just rain water dripping out of the undertray.
Most days after heavy rain or washing mine can leave a trail on the drive.

I hope it's not the radiator or washer bottle, have you got clear water in both? Have you collected some and maybe see if it smells or has a non water feel to it.

I would suspect the AC first, maybe it's not actually off but still doing some dehumidifying.

Andi.

Good news it is the headlight, it's leaking from the washer cable so presume its a bad seal?

Are they easy to refit your self?

Depends upon which bumper and if it's the connector tho the washer or the washer itself. Access on most is via the lower inspection panel in the wheelarch. If you can't reach, then bumper off.

On thing you can try is lifting the washer jet up and down a few times. Often seals them if it's that leaking

The bumper is standard 3.0 one.

The exact location was hard to tell was wet all round will have to dry it out. Presume using the washers will force some liquid out once dry so will be able to tell a bit better.

I will prob have to take wheel off to get some better access was a bit tight. Saying that I will need to buy a jack , think my neighbor has a trolly type one though.

Then you can reach through the wheel access panel. Wheel off or turned is easier, but not required.

Get someone to activate the washer and see if it comes out the connector or the washer unit, but don't mess if the car is jack up and wheel off, unless you have it on an axle stand too.

I'd bet the washer unit as the connector is a good fit and locked on with a plastic 'C' clip.
