Cheers mate :D
18's or 19's...is there an advantage to one over the other?

my 18's are harsh enough, I imagine 19's would be unbearable!

Bet you have run flat tyres........ DITCH 'EM for a nice ride.... I have 19's and my ride is 100% better than 18's with RFT's!

You lot are going to ruin me, if I buy new wheels and tyres do you promise that the warning noisy thing will stop?

Edit, runs flats were removed before I bought it, those tyres have only done 300 miles.

Regarding the beeping sound, Any chance you had something on the passenger seat without the seatbelt clipped in

Pity you're so far away , I've got a set of these wheels in the shed, as I've upgraded to 17's and 19's

A knock that hard on the front of a Z4 i would be allowing for a wheel alignment once new wheels are sorted & before that i would check nothing is bent underneath :(

No runflats, Vreds! Ride was much better when I had the vreds put on but I still find it too harsh. Fiats are much better :D

Sounds like you need run the tyre calibration reset if your getting bleeping?

Just press the reset button (centre console) and hold it for a few seconds. It will reset, when i got my 19's had to do this twice ..... now all good! :driving:

Absolutely, I'll have the whole lot checked.
And thanks for the wheel info.

Get a claim in to the local Council for the damage. Get pictures of the pothole first.

104's from BMW on Amazon - £259.01
http://www.amazon.co.uk/BMW-Genuine-7Jx16-Star-Spoke-Alloy/dp/B005BQ57HO/ref=sr_1_13?m=A2LSLB2WWMB182&s=merchant&ie=UTF8&qid=1423940881&sr=1-13

You'll also need to replace that expensive "Run Flat Tyre" that was on the front.

So that would be £259.01 + Tyre cost towards a new set of Alloys and Tyres.

There's Wheels and Tyres for sale on the Forum. http://www.z4-forum.com/forum/viewforum.php?f=7

Picked up a nail in my 16s with half warn runflats so was good excuse to buy set of Wolfrace 18s and non runflats looks good and runs really well.
so did me a favour in the end. Hope no other damage was inflicted. Running around at possibly well over ton on a damaged wheel is a definate no no. Cheers Baz

Obviously, I'd never break the speed limit but if I did then I'd buy new wheels, tyres and get the geometry checked at the same time :P

I really appreciate all the input as for the last few years my car has been a Land Rover and for fun it's always been a motorbike.
