Went out to give the Z it's weekly wash this morning and discovered this.

Not as bad as some of the damage I have seen on other members cars but I was still mightily angry about it. I have a sinking feeling this happened in my work car park. I can never get over the fact people damage others cars and just drive off.

Did a quick repair to tidy it up until I have more time next week it needs more rubbing down and the paint building back up properly but it will do for this week.

I may treat it to a trip to the body shop soon as the front bumper could with a bit of work.

The mark at the bottom had been but the others haven't and we're definitely not there last week when I washed it. At least it's an excuse to get it sorted properly.

The parking at my work is shocking too. There are only 1/2 a dozen slots I will use and then ill only use others if I have to.

Good temp job

That looks like the colour rust to me... What a strange basepaint to use on a plastic bumper.

Could this have been cause on driving on gravel/ stone chipping it? Only say that as its within the curvature of the bumper, and low down, so below the impact areas of most car bumpers.

I dont think so there was scratches around the area as well they dont really show up on the picure but most just polished out.

Pretty much over it now and looking forward to getting in a body shop having both bumpers re-sprayed and my wheels refurbished before next summer then it will be happy motoring again :driving:
