Not So Genuine CSL Alloys

Unfortunately not genuine so very high price! :thumbsdown:
No BMW stamp above the ///M badge and wrong offset on the fronts, see mine below!
No idea personally but there's clearly a knack as Tom Scott can also spot them from 20 paces. Pray tell us the secret.....

There are many people who advertise as genuine, They get twice the money, I have asked many a seller for extra photos of the back of the wheels but never had a reply

"Hi,
I see you list these alloys as being "GENUINE BMW CSL LIGHT WEIGHT ALLOY WHEELS" and made by BBS, however the image you have provided does not appear to be a genuine BBS BMW CSL wheel. There are tell-tale signs and the image shown is missing the correct BMW stamp and also the front alloy offset is wrong (should be 44 not 38) and so this does not match the OEM spec.
Due to the above reasons, it appears either your advert is incorrectly worded and showing the wrong images and wrong info to represent the genuine items you are selling, or you are advertising cheap replicas as original items, which would be against eBay rules.
Let me know if you need any more help on identifying if the alloys are genuine, we have quite a knowledge base on the Z4 forum. Pop along any time for help with the alloys.

also..a nice fact for the CSL owners and wanters.....
The CSL rim is manufactured using a process call Spun forged or flow forming as others call it, this creates a significantly stronger wheel then a regular cast unit, and a strength very close to a full "forged" rim. The Csl rim weights in around a 2lb or so lighter than the stock 18s on each corner so, no meaningful difference but again still lighter, but it does offer a very very strong (originally intended for road slicks), gorgeous looking rim.... The CSL is imo one of the best all round options for the z4m and its oem to boot. I can only see these going up in value eventually. I was planning on selling mine but i think i'll keep them. The work really nice with a 10/12mm spacer up front .... Remember the front offset is actually higher than the stock 18" unit which leads to that sunken look and a wheel that sits close to the strut unit, the rear is nearly ideal for a 9.5" wide rim.
