Not many Zed's in USA?

Just back today from two and a bit weeks in America. Drove from Boston to Providence, Groton, New York, Niagara Falls via Buffalo and then down to Washington DC before trecking back across to Boston to fly home. In all that time (1400 miles aprox) I saw only three Zeds. Seems there are lots of Z3's but very few Z4's. I took this picture in New York just off Times Square after listening to the tourists ooh and aahh over it. Turned out to be a good picture with the famous reference etc. In the UK, seems you need only travel to the end of your street to see a handful, not the case in the USA (IMO)

Think it's just the luck of the draw. I live in the North of England and see very few (OK so now's you chance you southern n.....ies!)

The USA is a very large country and very diverse. In larger cities, you might not see many Zs or many cars *per capita* at all. Why have a car and fight all that congestion when you can take the subway or a taxi?

I see Zs running around all over town, but very, very few coupes. California and Florida would have more of 'em, too--the beach/car culture.

Maybe you saw min... I did a few trips between groton and boston.

I drove from groton, ct, to south ga, to south florida, to west mississippi back to ga then to north carolina before going to boston and I only saw four, and all but one were grey like mine. I felt unoriginal

Z4's are a dime a dozen here in sunny Scottsdale Arizona..... just in my development, we have a mini club starting, 1 red, 1 black, 1 grey and mine of course a beautiful powder white, beige top/interior.......

I live in Long Beach California and while they're not dime-a-dozen, there are quite a few. I work in a large office building, and there are three on my corner of the parking garage alone - a white //M Coupe, a 2.5, a Green //M Coupe - not including myself.

strange I see more when I go across to my parents in the NE then just about anywhere else. i think I just about count on one hand the number I've seen in my part of world (Dumfries & Galloway) since moving here 5 years ago.

wow. you should come down to Aus. I almost feel like im driving a Ferrari, as the Z is so rare here
Ive seen 1 coupe in my town - its a facelift 3.0. and as far as i know (i asked my dealer) i have the only roadster in my whole region.
Oh and ive never even seen an ///M. theres only one for sale in the entire country and its an 06 Grey coupe for $75,000

Drove from Montreal to South Carolina (Myrtle Beach) a few weeks ago on vacation. Think I saw only 1 or 2 in two weeks!
